Step 1: The first and most critical step is to remove the massive steel bead ring. Our heavy-duty OTR-Dr\u00e4htextraktor <\/a>was chosen for this task. With over 30kW of power, this machine locks onto the tire and uses immense hydraulic force to pull the entire steel ring out in a single, clean motion in about two minutes. This action not only protects the client’s multi-million dollar pyrolysis investment from catastrophic damage but also immediately produces a high-value, easily recyclable steel byproduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: Sizing the Feedstock with the OTR Tire Cutter With the bead ring removed, the now “beadless” tire is moved to the next machine. We had the perfect OTR-Reifenschneider <\/a>for sale to meet their needs. This powerful cutter, equipped with durable Chromium-12 Molybdenum Vanadium blades, systematically slices the 4-meter tire into manageable, uniform chunks. These pieces are the ideal size and consistency to be fed directly and efficiently into the pyrolysis reactor.<\/p>\n\n\n
