Styrofoam Densifier Melting Machine
Styrofoam Densifier Introduction
The EPS hot melting machine—also known as a styrofoam melting machine or styrofoam densifier—is designed to convert lightweight EPS foam waste into dense, reusable plastic logs. Through a high-temperature heating and screw extrusion process, the machine melts expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extrudes it into continuous foam logs, dramatically reducing volume and increasing transport and storage efficiency.
This densifer machine is widely used in foam packaging factories, recycling stations, construction waste handling, and logistics warehouses. It provides an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution for turning bulky foam waste into high-value compressed material suitable for further pelletizing or resale.
How the EPS Melting Machine Works?
The working principle of our EPS foam melter is based on a three-step process:
- Feeding and crushing: Waste EPS foam is manually or automatically fed into the hopper. Our styrofoam densifier os designed with crusher.
- Heating: Internal electric heaters raise the temperature to melt the foam uniformly.
- Screw Extrusion: The molten foam is pushed by a rotating screw toward the die head, where it exits as a continuous melted log and naturally cools into a dense block.
